Botanical Gardens

The weather has been so nice lately. On Tuesday, we decided to take the kiddos to Botanical Gardens and just let them RUN. It was great......except for when they ran out of our site! I tell ya, these 4 little one's are a force to be reckoned with......too much fun!!

Progress, Progress!

We have been making LOTS of progress in the kitchen and master bath this week! We finally got our appliances in, the granite installed yesterday and the plumber is coming today to hook everything up, which means I WILL HAVE MY DISHWASHER BACK!!! I never knew how much I LOVED my dishwasher until it was taken from me. I have longed for this day for weeks now!!! Hopefully, by the end of this week, all the "major" things will be in place and I can actually use some things in my kitchen! It's so pretty!!!

Our backsplash is supposed to be put in on Friday!!

Look at the size of that countertop! I have visions of all that I can get accomplished on that wide open space! =)

My new best friend!! I can't wait to get this puppy running today!

The bathroom is coming along slowly but surely, but we have our new shower ready to go......minus the faucets!

And then there were 5.......

Reese is going to be a big sister again and Charlie is finally going to be a big brother! Joe and I are so excited to have another little one soon. We are due around September 22 and feel so blessed to add another sweet baby to our family! Reese and Charlie still don't "get it" yet, we talk about the baby and about how things will be with another little one, but I don't think they can fully understand quite yet. Please pray for a healthy baby boy or girl. I am 13weeks now, and so far, so good. I had a doctor's appointment today and the heart rate was in the 160's and all is looking great. We're going to be a family of FIVE!!!!!

Key West

Joe got invited to go on a trip for work to Key West, Florida. It just so happened that it coincided with spring break, so we had a fun filled trip and a mini getaway with just the two of us. The kids stayed home with their Gigi and had a blast as well. Joe and I only took 2 pictures the entire trip (can you believe it?). We took one picture on the boat taking us to snorkel and one picture of our hotel sign! It's hard taking pics when it's just the 2 of you!! We had such a fun time but were so happy to get home to our babies. Back to reality!

Happy Happy Birthday Joe!!

Joe had to go on a bachelor's party this weekend, so we weren't able to celebrate his birthday until Sunday (his real birthday was on Saturday). The kids were so happy to give him his gifts and make him wear his silly hat! Happy 32nd Birthday old man! We LOVE you!!!!

Birthday Dinner

To make things easier on everyone, we went to PawPaw and LaLa's house for dinner for Joe's birthday (going to a restaurant with a 2 and 3 year old isn't exactly a relaxing experience!). The kids were able to run around and play and we were able to actually sit and chat! We had steaks and chicken and my mom and I had baked Joe a carrot cake. Happy Happy Birthday Joe! Hope to celebrate many many more with you!!!

Don't ask me what that face Joe's making is about.....he did it in every picture????

seriously Joe?

Tannehill

My cousins have a camper that they took to Tannehill for the week, so last weekend we loaded up the kiddos and all their bikes/scooters and went for the day. They had a B.L.A.S.T.!! My cousin has baby Yorkie puppies that are too cute for words running around and Reese couldn't get enough of them. Charlie rode his scooter until I thought his legs would fall off and we ate more food than you should ever eat in one day! All in all, a good day!!

You think she's having fun?!?!

LOVE this picture of my sweet boys!

They were out before we got out of the parking lot!

We have Cabinets!!!

Our house is a M.E.S.S. I've never seen so much dust in all my life in one location. Dust so thick you can write your name in it. Between new sheetrock, sanding walls, floors and cabinets, I don't think our house will ever be the same. We're seeing progress every day though. Today, they put in most of our cabinets (my island is not ready yet). They are not painted or glazed yet, but they're here and they're so pretty! Tomorrow, they will start the hardwood floors and then they will put our appliances in! Little by little we are trucking along!
